Is soccer more than just a sport?
Yes,Soccer is more than just a sport as it is fun to watch and fun to play.Many people around the world live and breath Soccer.
Soccer keeps you fit and healthy.Many people have benefited from the training. People who are fat may turn into a thin person if the person are willing to change.However just like any other sports,Soccer requires disclipine.If they do attend training,it would be like just any other sport.
Players are role models for many young individuals.Therefore,soccer is more than just a sport.For example,like Cristiano Ronaldo. I heard that he was famous for his free kicks.When I play soccer,many of my friends do what he does.Therefore players like him influenced people around the world.However, inb the 90 minutes game,they only play soccer and do nothing else. If they win the game, they would celebrate for their win and if they lose, they would just be dissapointed..
However the celebration behaviour of the players after the is not a sport.The rumours and the gossips published in the newspapers are not sports.
Overall, I strongly believe that soccer is more than just a sport because it is ingrained in the fabric of many societies.soccer is a global icon and billions of people are entertained by them.
